SO.
DAY 1 (:
i got there prettiee early (: had to be there fr registration. was preettiee boring at the beginning. bt i felt kinda bad (and edwin and u all shuld feel bad too :/). we thought...a GURL was a GUY! :/ gurl frm the homes. sigh, im sorriee! haha she's quite cute tho. was in my group. (: besides that, i had trouble opening the office gate. after i went up to get the first aid box, i tried to open it. it used to be easy, without all the tight security. but after tht stupid break-in by those lunatics who robbed my church ):, security has been tighter than ever. it is reali heavy to push. REALLY. :/

sooo, after registration. we had our first session with Aunty Siew Ean. it was prettyy boring (no offence, it was mainly fr the kids anyway, nt fr youth :P). i was falling asleep. was partially frm my lack of sleep. i BET the other leaders were falling asleep too. :P haha. then, we had a devotion session with the kids. Zhi Wei was the other group leader with me (: my group consisted of : Mogana, Esther, Shu Herng, Alexandrea, Caleb, Henry Luke, Joel Abraham, Joel John, John Jay, Leonard, Reuben, Zhue Ser, Pavalan, Smreti, and Nikhyta. (: sum are SUPER hard to control, namely, Joel John. naughty giler i tell u :/ anyway, we had a getting-to-know-you session too :D thenn, had a tea. (: thenn we had another session till like 12.10 pm. FINALLY had craft. (: haha it was making a sorta-optical illusion of lollipops :P

thenn, had lunch. our very first VCS lunch (: haha. then it was back to craft. joy :P then, had ANOTHER tea (how many meals do they want? *wonders* :P). thenn, finally....GAMES! (: haha (: the kids must have felt delighted (; soo it was KINDA a treasure hunt. bt u had to go around the church looking fr the sheet of answers fr the question sheet. these were classics :
-Where can I find the Lord's prayer in the Bible? (:
KING EDWARD, KING EDWARD! :P
-What was the company that Bill Gates founded? (:
Apple Co.! I'm sure its tht! :P
there were more, bt i shant say, so i dont embarass (: it was kinda a stressful session tho. the kids din wanna listen to me. and they oni think im Zhi Wei's assistant. sighs :/ sooo, then, we had this reali cool thing. there was too much time so we had a kiddies' disco :D and they playeed this clip of a REALI cute hippo and dog singing. love it! :P haha and the kids had to mimic it, and they played statue dance (; and thanks to mei yan, the lighting effects made it prettiee cool. got sum cute shots :P haha after tht, i signed out, went home. and i fell asleep preetttiieee early. thanks to the kids! :/ haha :P

DAY 2 (:
got thr LATE. sighs. cos my aunt came late to pick me up. ryan changed his shoes THREE times, thts why. bt oni ten mins late (: thank god not more than that. one thing u shuld nooe bout me, i HATE being late. realli. thenn, it was de ja vu again. of the first half of the day. since all three days had the SAME schedule. :/ The craft today was more fun tho (: we made kangaroo cup holders, lady bug paper weights and nerdy catepillar bookmarks! (: haha but my caterpillar was a rocker one :P i got frustrated with the glasses cos i culdnt stick em so i made it a rocker caterpillar :D things started to get more fun, as i bonded with the other helpers :D

games. :P haha we were supposed to have our water fight today. bt it rained. so it got postponed. we had another game tho. had to get as many signatures as possible. my group came 2nd! (: cos we got 8 signatures :D haha. soo, we had to roll this HUGE dice, then go to the station of the number we rolled (: we did bryan's station twice, mei yan's station twice, hao zhong's station twice and yuen xin's station twice. :P haha and we did crazy things. had to, before getting to roll the dice. all eugene's fault! :P haha. we had to pose as a ballerina, do our pulling-the-ears thingi, star jumps. crazy ppl! :P haha. soooo.

Hao Zhong's station was the football station. i din play. :P i din want to embarass myself. :P haha. thenn, Mei Yan's station was like an obstacle course. the push ups part was hilarious :P the kids, not all culd do, so many did the butt up and down way :P and the carrying over part, i seriousli felt scared FOR the kids. scared tht leonard and henry mite drop them. especially the fragile ones like alexandrea :P AND, the pie was gross. eeee :/ Yuen Xin's station was the tongue twister one, which was realii funny :P hehe (: Bryan's station was the quiz station. He asked LAME questions like :
-Our camp commandant is very ugly? true/false?
-On a scale of 1 to 10, how lame is Zhi Wei?
-What color is a RED plastic bag?
then sumone went PINK PINK! :P haha :D
the day was prettiee tiring and i feel bad fr shouting at the kids SO much, since they were super naughty. bt they needed it. to be disciplined. bt i guess they did go fr VCS to have fun riteee? so im sorriee, u kids! ):

DAY 3 (:
soo, arrived juz at like 9 on the dot. signed in, session again. thenn had the quiz and flipper flapper session thing (: the quiz was prettiee okayy. except my group got quite alotta Zonks (meaning no marks fr tht question :/). but we did end up with a total of 2,200 points (: thenn, we added up all our points and guess wat? my group won FIRST PLACE! (: haha i guess Zhi Wei was rite, his group is always the winning group. :D my group had 6070 accumalated points (: so proud of u ppl (:

thenn, had an awesome lunch (: a funny one too :P haha all the guys were teasing Sarah bout Dion. *its okie Sarah, ive been thr, done tht :D* thenn, had a balloon session. which was preetttieee crazziee. i think i attract crying kids. earlier, Mogana cried. dunno why and i had NO idea how to comfort her so i asked Sarah to help :D *thankies :D*. thenn, Jarren cried when i was jag-ing Yellow group fr Mei Yan. cos sumone was being protective of his fren and hit Jarren fr hittting his fren. and Jarren was wrong. he lied! :/ gosh. my fingers ACHE frm tieing sooo many balloons :/ thenn, we had games after tht. first, we had a Coke game. each person in the group has to run back and forth, a distance, with a can of Coke in her/his hand. then after the last person runs, he/she has to open the Coke and drink it while the group gathers around him/her. and the Coke will OBVIOUSLY be reali gassy. :P haha :D

thenn, we had the water fight (: red and green combine against gold and white :D thenn bryan was like, oni can take one at a time, try to hit below the waist and can kena ur own helpers :P haha thenn, the minute the game started, he toook one balloon and tried to kena mape, christina and me! :P hhaha thenn my water balloon was wasted weeii :/ anyway, i got kena-ed on the bak by Eugene and Edwin. SOOOO painful :/ dunno HOW those ppl throw :/ then the balloons ran out so sum helpers threw down water on us frm the highest lvl :P i barely kena-ed. then jaime was pushing me, while Leonard and Shu Herng(i think) were pulling me to go and get wet. my church camp shirt got stretched a lil i think :/ i love that shirt, really :P haha (:

thenn, Eugene managed to pour a pail of water down my back! :P haha Jaime splashed it in my face and so did Hao Zhong. the one frm Hao Zhong was REAL unexpected. i tot he was helping me! :P haha. then everytime Christina, mape and i got a pail of water, the kids came and stole it frm it. and we fought fr it alrite :P haha :D thenn, Zhi Wei went a lil crazy. he started to throw balls of used, wet tissue at ppl. at first, i tot i was safe, din kena. then suddenly, i kena-ed on my back. and i was wearing black. so gross! :/ and my face kena-ed too. he missed! :/ thts why my face kena-ed. basically, we were ALL trying to kena Eugene cos he kena-ed like EVERYONE! :P haha and Becky kena-ed him :D i will get them one day. all of u guys ; Bryan, Edwin, Eugene, Jaime, Zhi Wei and Hao Zhong :P haha (: i wish it never ended :P

thennn, we had to quickly clean up and change (: soo i went to change. Sarah lost her phone! :/ apparently a lil kid stole it. :S i reali hope she finds it. i feel her pain. :S i almost lost mine last time :S soo, we changed, and i got a complimentary GSC pass fr being a team leader! (: thanks aunty maureen! :D hehe (: thenn, took a group pic with the kids tht were left. and before i left, i asked Aunty Linda if i culd take a pic with her oh-so-adorable twins! (: haha and i did (; soooo cute! :D and Henry Luke is too :D he was like : next year, try to get into green team. thanks fr teaching and leading me! (: haha (:

ah yee almost forgot bout me :/ i had to run after her man :/ haha thenn, i went home. was kinda tired.

i LOVE being a helper. (: its awesome (: VCS was stressful, tiring and fun (: i guess the stress was worth it (; and the pics...they will be updated in another post :D
