came back from camp yesterday; it was AWESOME! :)
time passed by SO fast, and i really mean, SO FAST!
feels like i didnt get enough of everything. well, im camp sick, what can i say? x)
anyway,
Day 1
Was on bus A with Jas, Vic, Vanese, Cass, Hannah, Ash and Suyin.
and WHO were our bus leaders?
MICHAEL LOON AND ANNABELLE WONG! :D
the trip to the place was filled with laughter and lame jokes and all.
learnt a new game, the Thumb Game! :D and the Chicken Backside game. and believe it or not, i ACTUALLY felt put off chicken. heh!
the lunch was not-so-nice, considering i also did feel rather put-off.
we had a late check-in, but a rather quick one.
after orientation, during free time, we popped into the pool. mainly the kids pool, and the jacuzzi + slide :D was a rather quick dip i think. the pictures are with Vic and Eliza. and Eliza was like our mummy/time-keeper, heh! :D
dinner was okay. a few of us girls (and a few boys?) gave Alex a little cupcake (and that reminds me, i need to do a birthday post later :D).
session was gooooddd :)
ICE-BREAKERS WAS HILARIOUS! :P
we were split into 6 "animals".
Snakes, tigers, elephants, ducks, frogs and monkeys.
Vic, Vanese and i were snakes. Chee pang was our leader. we were rather popular dont y'all think? (;
did my own reflection and devotion, had a rather tiring day.
Hannah claims I sleep like a princess.
HAHA! :P
Day 2
half woke up at 7, snoozed again till about 7.20 and then finally woke up :)
headed off to group devotion. my CG leader this year was Katrina. she's really nice :)
breakfast was rather okay? only had Koko Krunch. and the resort people spelt it as CoCo Crunch. HEH! :P Session 2 was GOOOD as always :)
Lunch was a bit..nevermind. heh, but the veggies always looked gross and tasted WORSE :/
after lunch, at 2, was our first session of games. Ash (SP) and i, were rather shocked to see that we're group leaders for games. ANYWAY. my group was called PETER BARRETTA! :D someone unknown dude whose name was from Wikipedia. bonding with my group at first was rather awkward, but it got better. my group consisted of Hing, Kheng Yew, Soon, Jeremy, Angeline, Vivian, Sarah, Douglas and me! :) i got hit by the sponge twice, on the same arm, but the same fella. WHO? JON YEO. heh! i found the balloon game pretty funny :D
the rope untying thing i did with Sarah was fun but a bit confusing? well, MAINLY cause Nicole decided to distract me and all that x)
so during our break, was supposed to head to the pool for "the thing".
ended up staying out of waters for rather a long time.
Cake thing didnt work out.
Vic and i were only in the pool for around 10 (or less) minutes.
what a regret of not going in earlier.
im still yet to kena Donald, who kena-ed me GAOGAO really! heh :)
went back, took a quick shower.
had our session, which was, honestly, the MOST AMAZING session of camp! :)
it was so powerful, the altar call was amazing, and it dragged, but ohwell, its all for God :)
sometime that day, Vic and i did hospitality. and it was ohsofun :D
except we missed a bit of the Jaya Ho dance!
we kinda got busted this night, cause we stayed up like 1 hour past our Lights Out :)
Day 3
woke up, had group devo at 8, had a breakfast which gave me a tummy ache for a while :/
ANYWAY. we took a group photo :) cant wait to receive it (and all our other pics as well :D)
Jon Dean was in front of me, HEHEHE :P
speaking of him, i stilll find it mean when they say he's the "ugliest in the camp".
anyway, we had another session, but it was mainly worship the WHOLE time. Pastor Mike didnt speak during this session, but it was still good as ever :)
had lunch, then we headed back to my place to chit chat. ate junk, and chat on the bed :) did have a good time as usual :D
left my place at around 2.50ish, to head off for our 2nd and last games session of the camp. It was a shorter games session, but it was still pretty fun. Riddle for the dice thing was rather easy i think! :)
after games (which dragged on to 5.35+), we headed back to the room. decided not to go swimming, since we wouldve be asked to get out of the pool at about 6 or so. Washed up and all that, headed off to dinner at 6.35. After dinner, we had Session 5 :) was rather good, though it was different in a way, for me.
Jas, Cass and Vanese came over after session. we were all sitting in my (and hannah's and yee neng's) room, trying to strategize how to find to a way to let Jas, Cass and Vanese sleep over. they stayed till about 12.30 or so, cause they had no room key. Tim came in to help us dispose of a worm, HEH! :P went to sleep at around 1 or so.
Day 4
woke up, got ready for devo, and arrived there at the same time as Katrina cause we were walking there kinda-together since she was just opposite my room.
We took a CG picture, yes :)
at breakfast, we passed Lex his presents.
heh, MILO, MILO, MILO.
a real milo addict :)
had our last session, which was a bit saddening, since it was the last.
session dragged, we barely had time to pack up. managed to take an apartment mates picture, wheee :) dropped off our bags in the hall at 12.10, had a quick lunch. everyone was signing everyone's autographs and exchanging numbers and emails. didnt get to exchange books with Sarah though, i couldnt find her! :(
Vic and i didnt get our picture with Pastor Mike though :(
we departed for KL at about 1 or so, and this time round, i sat with Jas.
most people were sleeping. or TEXTING :P
Jas and i were talking all the way there :) and yes, non-stop x) the only break from talking was our 10-15 mins stop at Termeloh :P
arrived back, headed off to the toilet, and mainly just hung around for quite a while.
Jas and i played the Slapping Game. boy, Jas, you slap HARD x)
went off to dinner at Restoran L.T, with dad's side of the family.
Uncle J brought back Pineapple Cakes, Almond Cookies and stuffs from Taiwan :) they were good :D had a bit of South African wine. aand homemade STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE! yum! :)
was super tired though.
All in all, i had an AMAZING camp.
im feeling like a camp sick kid. heh!
had an awesome time, meeting people, and strengthening friendships :) and talking to people ive known but never really talked to x) jumping was fun. and the Jaya Ho and the chicken dance! :D
